Our MISSION
To deliver an informed and equitable response to hunger by mobilizing community partners, volunteers, and supporters. We support individuals and families – from one end of the state to the other – by addressing root causes, creating long-term solutions, and distributing nutritious food in an effort to alleviate hunger.

Join our ActNow Club
The high-school student-led organization pursues bold, fast, and wide-ranging actions needed to address small and big issues in our community. Problems simple or complex have a beginning and an end. What is lacking is a force that can see it through its journey.
One problem that ActNOW is actively pursuing in our Simi Valley is Food Insecurity. 1 in 6 people in our county is struggling with food insecurity. ActNOW’s partnerships within the Ag community, neighborhood backyards, and generous contributions allow volunteers to procure quality, nutritional, and valuable food. Food is then distributed through the Fresh Food Store of Simi Valley location and programs to hungry families, seniors, and children!
